Focus Groups around England and Wales
Focus Groups help us to understand the key issues impacting on disabled legal professionals and will shape the direction of our research.
Following a successful series of focus groups in 2017, we are delighted to announce further opportunities to take part in the research.
The 2018 Focus Groups for all disabled legal professionals will be:
Birmingham 12th February, 12.30 – 2pm
Cardiff 9th February, 1 – 2.30pm and 16th February, 2 – 3.30pm
Manchester 26th February 5 – 6.30pm
London (Barristers and Clerks only) 2nd and 19th February, 4.30pm – 6pm
To accommodate any access requirements and ensure that group sizes are manageable, please book your place by emailing info@legallydisabled.com
You can also use this email address if you have any questions about the purpose, eligibility and functioning of the focus groups.
The focus groups are only open to disabled legal professionals (this includes physical and sensory impairments, health conditions, mental health conditions and learning difficulties.)
We understand that many people choose not to disclose disability to employers and colleagues and we take account of this in the research methodology. The groups will be facilitated by disabled people to Chatham House rules.
The focus groups are confidential and no personal information will be passed onto any external bodies or organisations. If you have queries have how we protect your details and anonymise findings please get in touch on info@legallydisabled.com
Other ways to engage in the research
We will begin conducting one to one interviews from March 2018. You can contact us on info@legallydisabled.com to register an interest in participating in the research, via focus groups and/or interviews.
